Philosophy…

Clothing is the indisputable witness to the human adventure because it is with us, on our bodies, day in and day out. My aesthetic is influenced by pop culture codes from the 20th century influence, which are part of the collective memory. Thus, my collections revisit the theme of functionality that constitutes the world of workwear. As both a tribute and a creative interpretation, my work speaks its own language through womenswear and menswear in cotton.

Concept…

"To have been is a condition of being." F. Braudel Be they inspired by the blouse of a nurse's uniform or a factory worker's jacket, my cuts follow simple lines that are pure and functional, easily appropriated because of their timelessness. Thoroughly modern, they allow unrestricted movement for the active person without sacrificing elegance for practicality. They embody a style and an attitude that are the new definition of sophisticated cool.

Execution…

Each of my pieces follows a clear standard that is the source of my inspiration: the collective memory. My garments are produced in France, from the traditional cotton weave to the last stitch. The colours [carbon, plum, brick, fig blue, lilac…] are achieved through my collaboration with a master dyer to assure both the right shade and long-term durability. Special care is also taken in every detail of each garment's production – from the cut to each buttonhole to the interior stitching.

Wearing…

My collections are an expression of fashion blending artistic creation and a mastery of technique. Conceived as an ode to modern "working-class heroes" mapping out their future as men and women on the move, my work is a reflection of a liberated sophistication.
